Member Policy

1. Patron Members

Any individual, firm, company or any other person carrying on the manufacture of footwear can become a Patron Member by paying an entrance fee of Rs.1,00,000/- and subscription fee of Rs.25,000/- per year for the initial four years (Life long Ordinary Member)

2. Associate Patron Members

Any individual, firm, company or any other person engaged in the manufacture or trade of footwear components, raw material, machinery, moulds or equipment or dealer / supplier of footwear can become a Patron Member by paying an entrance fee of Rs.1,00,000/- and subscription fee of Rs.25,000/- per year for the initial four years (Life long Associate Member)

3. Ordinary Members

Any individual, firm, company or any other person carrying on the manufacture of footwear shall be eligible to become Ordinary Member of the Company.

4. Associate Members

Any individual, firm, company or any other person engaged in the manufacture or trade of footwear components, raw material, machinery, moulds or equipment or dealer / supplier of footwear or acting as consultant or advisors-technical or otherwise to the Footwear Industry shall be eligible to become Associate Member of the Company.

5. Technical Members

Any person holding Licentiateship, Diploma, Degree, Associateship or Fellowship in footwear from any recognised Institute, College or University in India or abroad or having not less than 20 years experience in footwear industry can apply to become Technical Member.

6. Affiliate Members

Any Association or Chamber of Commerce in India or Abroad, connected with footwear goods industry or trade shall be eligible to become a member of the Company.

7. Honorary Members

On the recommendation of the Managing Committee, the General Body may confer on any person or persons, who has/have rendered distinguished services to the footwear Industry.

8. Faculty Student Members & Research Scholars

Students including research scholars can obtain membership with a yearly subscription fee of Rs. 100/-. This category of members is not entitled to have voting rights.

9. Foreign Membership

Any individual, firm, company or any other person incorporated or having address outside India, shall apply for membership.
